My subject matter is influenced by things occurring in the natural world, as well as things from alternate realms. Through a practice of journey meditation, I enter a state similar to dreaming, in which vivid imagery can be revealed. The orbs in this series, titled Environments, appeared in just this way. But, what are they?
Imagine the most dreamy treehouse, but with a little sci-fi flourish to it. That is how the white orbs presented in my meditation. They were inhabitable structures made from an earthen material like cobb or adobe. Sparkly and indestructible on the outside, absolutely swoon worthy on the inside and decorated to the specifications of [insert your wildest dreams here].
Rooted in the realm of metaphysics, the orbs can safely transport living beings [i.e. you and me] to all corners of the universe (like little time machines) without leaving a trace. The opalescent dwellings can materialize in landscapes that would otherwise be unreachable for regular human exploration and the black dot in the center of each orb is a window that offers panoramic views of the most breathtaking scenery.
Purchase includes print only. Several standard and easy-to-frame sizes are available. Prints are packaged in individual eco-clear sleeves with sturdy, acid-free backing boards.
